Overstrand Campsite

The campsite 'feel' is important to us, so this is what we are and what we are not...

• We like a laid back campsite.
• If you have a issue, we try to solve the ones we can but not everything is solveable in an instant.
• If you go to bed at 9pm the tent next door probably won't - so bring some ear plugs if you sleep light.
• We have no curfew or any other strict open or closing times but we do ask people to be respectful of their neighbouring campers.
• When you turn up in a bad mood we will try to put you in a better mood - you enjoying yourself is what we try to achieve.
• We like camping and all our staff also camp on the site and are on hand if you need us.
• If we offer to help put your tent up and you take that as a sign of slavery we won't help for long.
• We won't tolerate swearing, litter and moronic behaviour so if you have tendency for any of these, go somewhere else.
• We can't control the weather but we do laugh at wimps who fall apart when it rains - sorry.

The campsite is only open from June 29th to August 29th and no, that's not a mistake.

The reason is the the campsite has limited planning permission and the opening times are all we are allowed - we wish it could be different.
