If you are looking for beach campsites, our site at Overstrand is one of the best. Situated on the cliff top at Overstrand, just two miles along the Norfolk Coast from Cromer the campsite enjoys access to miles of golden sandy beaches just a tiny walk from your tent.
North Norfolk has a mass of wonderful coastal scenery and is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and rightly so. From where we are there is a beautiful coastal walk into Cromer or relatively empty wide sandy beaches to enjoy. The fine sand is great fun for buckets and spades, sand castles, beach cricket and all those other wonderful seaside memories.
Overstrand beaches suit dog lovers and dog non lovers. To one side of the campsite the beach is dog friendly and to the other dogs are prohibited. Being a dog friendly campsite this is obviously a great place for everyone to enjoy - dog lovers or not. Unlike the more well known coastal areas of the South West, Norfolk's beaches are pretty deserted.
